Pamala Roche was awarded the Appreciation Pin for dedication and service to the Girl Scouts of Missouri Heartland at the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary celebration in Springfield, Mo. Roche became a co-leader in 2002. She and her "mom mobile" would be loaded with girls heading out to local Girl Scout activities. Although her Scouts have all grown-up, she continues to volunteer by donating a week of her time each summer to be "Nurse Pam" at summer day camp.
