O'Reilly Auto Parts manager John Gaskins has received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award in recognition of his support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserves. He was recommended for the award by Kayla Vaughn, who is an airman first class in the 121st Air Control Squadron, Missouri Air National Guard.
SoutheastHEALTH announces essay contest winners
The winners of the 2011 SoutheastHEALTH's annual essay contest were Sue Thompson, first place; Vickie Hoffman, second place; and Lalita Toeniskoetter, third place. The 2011 contest essays focused on technology in nursing. The contest is sponsored by the Heartland Advanced Practice Nursing Network. The group donated $1,000 to the project.
