Volunteer Marian LaFoe received the Margaret Foster Roberts Award at the Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary dinner. The award was established in 2003 to pay tribute to the innovative, enthusiastic and exemplary leadership of the late Margaret Roberts, the award recognizes volunteers with fervor and creativity. LaFoe and her husband, Harry, have served as hospital volunteers since 1994. Marian served on the auxiliary board of directors for many years including three years as vice president and a year as president. LaFoe was instrumental in the development of the Building Blocks project serving low-income first-time mothers.
