The Rev. Bill Vandergraph, pastor of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Alto Pass, Ill., and founder of Friends of the Cross, was pronounced Illinoisan of the Day on July 11 at the Corndog Kickoff in Springfield. The Illinoisan of the Day program was created to recognize individuals who make a difference in the lives of others and their community. Each Illinoisan will be honored on their special day at the Illinoisan State Fair, Aug. 17 for Vandergraph. He was picked for his dedication to life of ministry and for dynamic leadership of the Friends of the Cross Board.
