"This recipe was given to me by my sister, Marideen, from Marshall, Mo. These are very crunchy, tasty cookies. They taste better after they have aged for a day or so after baking. This is a very GOOD cookie!"

1 cup butter flavor Crisco

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 package French vanilla instant pudding mix

2/3 cup packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 1/3 cups all purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

4 oz. white chocolate chips or chunks

1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts or walnuts

3/4 cup toffee bits

Mix together cream sugar, Crisco and pudding until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients together and then add to the mixture. Add chocolate chips and nuts and toffee bits. Stir by hand. Drop by spoonful on baking sheet and bake at 350 F. for 8 to 10 minutes.
