On Oct. 15 and 16, the Show Me Center will turn into the nexus of estrogen in Southeast Missouri, when the venue hosts the annual Women's Show, sponsored by River Radio and Saint Francis Medical Center.

The show will offer everything from interactive demostrations to displays with merchandise to tips to make any woman's life easier, said promoter Meg Davis with River Radio.

About 100 businesses from local to out-of-state will flood the Show Me Center over two days and thousands of women are expected to attend. There are even some things for guys, who make up about 25 percent of the crowd (poor dudes, eh?).
