First Fridays in Cape Girardeau are great, but for art lovers who can't get enough, the Saint Louis Art Fair is the place to be.
The event takes place Friday through Sunday in Clayton.
The best part may be that this fair is free, which might also be a big part of why so many people attend. This year an estimated 150,000 people are expected to take part in the three-day festival.
A variety of art -- painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, wood, digital art, metalwork, prints, ceramics, fibers, glass, drawings and pastels and two- and three-dimensional mixed media pieces will be on display and for sale. Live music will also be featured on stages throughout the festival grounds.
Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
