The 158th edition of the SEMO District Fair will begin Saturday in Arena Park, and people of all ages will be making their trek to Cape Girardeau to take in the carnival rides and perhaps more than a few deep-fried treats.
As usual, there will be plenty of events for fairgoers to enjoy through the fair's end on Sept. 14, including the grandstand performances, pageants and some free entertainment. As a guide to the happenings, the Southeast Missourian presents a listing of daily events for the 2013 SEMO District Fair.
