PADUCAH, Ky. -- "Oxymorons: Absurdly Logical Quilts!," is now on display at the Museum of the American Quilter's Society.
The exhibit was organized by a group of five quilt artists in Maine who invited other quilt artists to translate the oxymoron of their choice into fabric. Among the 40 quilts are such titles as "Accidentally on Purpose," "Concrete Jungle," "Open Ended," "Dry Lake," Extinct Life" and "Permanent Temp."
The show continues through Jan. 12, 2002.
The museum is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sundays between April 1 and Oct. 31.
