Optimist Youth Appreciation Day at Cape Splash

Youth Appreciation Day sponsored by the Noon Optimist Club and the Optimist Club of Jackson Thursday, Aug. 29, at Cape Splash in Cape Girardeau. The event which offered free admission for Jackson and Oak Ridge students attending kindergarten through fifth grade and their families drew 1,100 participants.
