Gallery co-owner, artist and educator Elizabeth Thomas enrolled fellow art educators in Southeast Missouri for an Art Teachers show in September, allowing area art instructors to show their own skills with canvas, sculpture and film.

The Visual Arts Co-op has new works an the Sikeston Artists Group will display paintings, mixed media and more. Reception from 5 to 9 p.m.

Crisp Museum, River Campus
The art gallery will host "The Floating World: Ukiyo-e Prints" with wood panel prints like those found in Japan's Edo Period. The prints come from the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art. Reception from 4 to 8 p.m.

While her paintings and weavings adorn the walls, gallery owner Judy Barks-Westrich will exhibit new necklaces throughout the space as well.

The painted Wren Art Gallery
New works by Southeast Missouri artists. Aaron Horrell will be the featured artist with a photograph and custom-painted frame. Victor Kantchev has a new print that will benefit programs for teenagers by the New Horizons Foundation.

Dave Walker, a Jackson artist who usually constructs detailed landscapes with different fabrics, will exhibit some abstract fabric art where you can decide what you're looking at. Reception from 5 to 9 p.m.

The gallery will host works from several artists, including Charlie Kent, Jim Braun and art from the private collections of Lori Everret with jewelry, glass objects and vintage posters. REception from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mozaic
The pottery, paintings and glass works that make up Mozaic Art Studio will be highlighted as the gallery celebrates its one-year anniversary. Open until 9 p.m.

Eustis Studio
Karen Cauvin Eustis's bronze sculptures and wall hangings remain on display. The earthy, soulful paintings of Eddie Granger will also be on display and celebrated with a First Friday reception.

Around Town Shuttle
The First Friday Art Shuttle will run in September and be sponsored by Eustis Studio. The shuttle will stop at Crisp Museum, Aartful Rose, Eustis, Black Door Gallery and on the first block of Main Street. Shuttle runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
