The Artist Studio

The Artist Studio will be featuring "Three Men & Me," Edwin Smith, Matt Miller, Robert Friedrich and Judy Barks-Westrich, and showcasing sculpture and painting. The studio also will be celebrating its 11th anniversary.

Gallery of Inspiration

The featured artist of the month for March will be Megan Staufenbiel. Megan has several pieces with "The Adventure Alice in Wonderland" theme and also a "Fight Club" theme.

The Painted Wren Art Gallery

Painted Wren Art Gallery exhibits framed and unframed photographs and paintings for sale by several area artists. There will be homemade goat-milk soaps of various kinds made by Barb Bailey and jewelry by Carleen Johns. Several of the exhibitors are Best of Missouri Hands members. "Paint for a Cause" is popular with gallery visitors of all ages.

Crisp Museum

An exhibit showcases the artistic talents of high-school junior and senior students from Southeast Missouri and Illinois. The reception will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

Ron Fondaw, professional artist and professor of sculpture at Washington University in St. Louis, will exhibit his mixed-media artwork dealing with memory and time.

Dobbins Hallway Gallery

Artwork by Hafiza Khan will be displayed. The exhibition is called "East Meets West." Khan said she is a hybrid, created from bits and pieces of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the U.S.

Catapult: Creative House

The Gallery: Visiting artist Megan Singleton from St. Louis will be showing her latest artwork in the exhibition titled "To Rest Without Sinking." Her installations crisscross the boundaries of contemporary craft, combining sculpture, hand papermaking and digital applications. The Shoppe: Every print in the store will be buy one, get one 25 percent off. All prints are student made, created in-house or by visiting artists. Student Meghan Staley will have a mini exhibit. Refreshments available. The letter presses will be in action during the First Friday reception. Student Studio Pop-Up: The Catapult Creative House Student Studios will hold its spring exhibition, titled "Notre Quatrieme Meilleur." The exhibition will feature the work of 11 Southeast Missouri State University Art Department student artists.

Glenn House

A selection of acrylic paintings will be on display by Sikeston, Missouri, artist Ginger Miller. Her work on display will be representational, with a focus on landscape and architectural pieces. In addition to her work as an art educator in the region, she creates a variety of commissioned artwork.
