The Artist Studio

The studio will feature work by Judy Barks-Westrich and offer special prices on select artwork for First Friday visitors. The reception will be from 5 to 9 p.m.

Arts Council of Southeast Missouri

The Visual Arts Co-op will exhibit new works from members. Window exhibitors for the month of August are Catherine Bryant and Laura Clark. Reception from 5 to 9 p.m.

Gallery of Inspirations

The gallery will feature works inspired by nature in the surrounding area. These works will include photographs, drawings and paintings.

River Region Photography Association members Lu Dumey and Karen Grayson will exhibit new images. Tom Ward will showcase pencil drawings. In addition, many other local artists will display works in a variety of mediums.

Bilderbach Art Plaza

Works by the Poplar Bluff Art Guild will be on display in the Front Window Gallery. Live music will be provided by Celtic band Quittn' Time. Music and refreshments will be available in the "Landing." Reception from 5 to 9 p.m.

Nature-inspired art by Julie Bricknell of J Brick Pottery will be featured.

WESTRAY Studio

This will be the Around Town featured studio and will remain open until 10 p.m. Dr. Joel Ray will have new mini canvas photos on display. Jeanie Eddleman will introduce her two 2013 calendars of Jackson and historical downtown Cape. New drawings of the Cape Girardeau area will also be on display.

Black Door Gallery

The gallery will showcase 40 pieces of work created by male artists in the exhibit "Man Art." Reception from 5 to 9 p.m.
