Everybody's a critic: 'The Break Up'

This is not the usual Jennifer Aniston character, and if you are thinking that this is a really funny movie, you're in for a surprise.

It's a dark comedy that will hit close to home. As the movie begins, Vince Vaughn uses an unusual pick-up line that involves hot dogs. From there on it's life as we know it.

We fall in love, take advantage of one another and take more than we give. This is for couples everywhere. It teaches us that sometimes we can't go back to where we want to be, but with time and hope, we might have a second chance. This is a wake-up call to those who think that their relationship is secure. Watch the movie with an open mind.

Obviously, Vince and Jennifer have experienced break-ups before (duh!). Crisp dialogue and wonderful facial expressions permeate every fight.

According to Gary and Brooke, the characters Vaughn and Aniston portray in "The Break-Up," getting over a relationship is one of the best things that can happen to you. You travel around the world, get a better haircut, expand your business and are just happier all around. All this for only a few years investment into a relationship and a vicious fight over a condo, fueled by crazy advice from all your friends.

Brooke and Gary are definitely from two different worlds -- Mars and Venus, I presume.

Brooke "You don't buy a piece of art that you don't have to have," and Gary, "You mean those are show lemons?" So true-to-life it is painful.

Excellent acting, good laughs, the scenes with the bartender friend are priceless, but don't expect a Cinderella ending.
