Three and a half stars (out of four)
The third outing of "Mission Impossible" was packed with action. Most of the capers were unbelievable, hence, as the name says, impossible. The missile scene on the bridge is awesome. Some of the love scenes were a little boring and dragged out, but you had to have the love interest to make the plot work; however, I think we could have done without the drawn out "trust me" scene.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was excellent as the sadistic villain. The mystery of just what is the "rabbit's foot" was an excellent suspense ploy. I am a big Tom Cruise fan, so I enjoyed this movie a great deal. I anxiously await the return of Ethan Hunt in his next impossible mission.

Four stars (out of four)
An excellent movie.
The story line was predictable -- a damsel in distress, hero comes to her rescue and a near-death experience. I have not seen the previous "MI" movies. so I can't compare them to this one. I usually am not one that watches the action-packed kind of movies, I'm more love and romance.
The movie cast was excellent. Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, along with Philip Seymour Hoffman as Owen Davian, gave movie-goers the nice guy versus villain scenario. Davian is a villain like no other, maybe one of the crudest and most heartless Ethan has ever been up against.
The movie begins action-packed and ends the same way. The stunts where well choreographed. It was as if they were going to jump right in your lap.
I will definitely watch the two previous "MI"s.
