The rapper and the St. Louis Symphony announced Tuesday they will perform together Feb. 3 at Powell Symphony Hall. The program will feature "symphonic twists" on Nelly's hits such as "Hot in Herre," "Just a Dream" and "Country Grammar." Nelly has received two Grammy awards and is among the best-selling rap artists ever. His debut album, "Country Grammar," released in 2000, has sold more than 10 million copies.
LOS ANGELES -- Johnny Depp and Amber Heard settled their contentious divorce Tuesday, and the actress withdrew her allegations the actor had been physically abusive toward her one day before a restraining order hearing was scheduled to begin. "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile but always bound by love," a joint statement released by Heard and Depp said. "Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm." Heard filed for divorce in May and days later obtained a temporary restraining order accusing the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star of hitting her during a fight in their Los Angeles apartment in May.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Kiefer Sutherland has one of the most recognizable voices on television and film, whether he's playing agent Jack Bauer on "24" or the action hero Snake from the video game "Metal Gear Solid V." But on his debut album, "Down in a Hole," which comes out Friday, Sutherland takes on a different vocal role. Sutherland, 49, describes the music as "Americana singer-songwriter with a country kick." Sutherland began recording songs to pitch them to other singers. When his musical partner and producer Jude Cole heard them, he convinced the actor to cut a record himself.
