'I, Robot'

Starring Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Alan Tudyk, Chi McBride, James Cromwell, Bruce Greenwood and Shia LeBeouf. The story, set in 2035, focuses on a detective named Del Spooner, who is investigating the murder of a scientist, an employee at U.S. Robotics. A robot named Sonny is the prime suspect; for Sonny to have committed the crime would be a violation of the basic laws of robotics. Dr. Susan Calvin, a psychologist, helps Spooner in his investigation. Rated PG-13 for intense stylized action and some partial nudity, running time 114 minutes. (Town Plaza Cinema)

'A Cinderella Story'

Starring Hilary Duff, Chad Michael Murray, Jennifer Coolidge, Julie Gonzalo, Regina King, Lin Shaye and Brenda Song. A dorky high-school girl named Sam lives with her mean stepmother and equally wicked stepsisters. She's got a lackluster social life but manages to meet and entice a charming prince at the Halloween dance. When Sam runs off after midnight, she drops her cell phone, which her handsome hunk recovers, beginning a search for his Cinderella. Rated PG for mild language and innuendo, running time 96 minutes.
