'New York Minute'

Starring Ashley Olsen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Eugene Levy, Andy Richter, Andrea Martin, Darrell Hammond and Jared Padalecki. Twin sisters Jane and Roxanne Ryan journey from Long Island to New York City, where Jane is set to deliver a speech to qualify for a prestigious college scholarship. Roxy hopes to get backstage at a music video shoot to give her demo tape to the band. After their plans are fouled up by strange criminal activity, they're pursued by a truant officer. Rated PG for mild sensuality and thematic elements, running time 90 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

'Raising Helen'

Starring Kate Hudson, Helen Mirren, Joan Cusack, John Corbett, Felicity Huffman, Amber Valletta, Hector Elizondo, Spencer Breslin, Abigail Breslin and Hayden Panettiere. Helen is a young assistant to the boss of a modeling agency who is about to get a promotion. But her career plans are put on hold after her sister and brother-in-law are killed in a car crash, leaving her to care for their three kids, ages 5 to 15. She gets help from another older sister, the bossy Jenny, and a pastor, who falls in love with Helen while guiding her down her new life's path. 'Van Helsing'

Starring Hugh Jackman, Kate Beckinsale, Richard Roxburgh, David Wenham, Shuler Hensley and Elena Anaya. Van Helsing is a monster killer who works for a secret society that sends him to Transylvania, a mysterious region overrun with dangerous creatures like werewolves and vampires, to fight tyrannical ruler Count Dracula. Once there he meets Anna Valerious, a woman whose royal family is suffering under an age-old curse that can only be broken when the count is put to death.
