Best bet: We the Kings

They may not technically have lineage in the royal family, but the guys in We the Kings possess a certain musical majesty. The alt-rock foursome's self-titled album went to the top spot on Billboard's New Alternative Album sales chart. That album contained some of We the Kings' most popular songs like "Secret Valentine" and "Check Yes Juliet." Their newest record, "Sunshine State of Mind" features alternative pop rock songs that may not have you moshing, but will get you jumping and singing along. We the Kings will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Show Me Center. Tickets are $20 for Southeast Missouri State University students and $25 for the public.
