The 2014 St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl will start at 6 p.m. Monday in downtown Cape Girardeau. The event includes giveaways and prizes, and those who visit all participating clubs may enter a prize drawing. The first 425 to complete the tour will receive a commemorative drinking glass. New to the event is a king and queen contest, with each club selecting a king and queen representative for their establishment, each of which will have a donation box. The candidate who collects the most earns the title, and the cash is donated to a chosen charity. There is no entry fee for the event; participants are required to make a minimum purchase at each club.
