Best bet: Happy Slapowitz's Toy Bash

The annual Happy Slapowitz's Toy Bash will be Thursday. In the past, the adults-only fundraiser for Toys for Tots collected toys instead of a cover at Rude Dog Pub, but this year the event has expanded to three locations. The Mike Renick Band will play at Rude Dog, The Intention will play at The Library and the Pour House will have karaoke. Enter any of the venues for a $10 donation or a new, unwrapped toy. Each place will have food from 6 to 8 p.m. and music from 8 to closing time. Join the fun and do some good at the ninth annual Happy Slapowitz's Toy Bash on Thursday.
