Southeast Missouri State University's Department of Theatre and Dance saves its darkest, most adult material for its second stage in the Rust Flexible Theatre. This weekend, that stage hosts a student production of the dark comedy "Sordid Lives," about a dysfunctional Southern family. The plays has adult content and language and will "explore sensitive topics" according to the university's disclaimer, so don't bring the kids to this one. "Sordid Lives" shows at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Call 651-2265 or go to rivercampusevents.com for more information.
