Jeanie Eddleman has published a second book of graphite drawings of local landmarks, this time of places in Cape Girardeau County. "Shadows of Cape Girardeau County Yesteryears" contains drawings of buildings and places that mark the history of the county. The book shows and tells about places like Wimpy's Restaurant, which used to sit on the west side of Kingshighway near the entrance to Arena Park, or the Millikan Motor Co., which was built in the 1950s as car showrooms and still stands at 221 Independence St. Eddleman's book contains 92 graphite drawings and is $35.
