In this Tim Burton animated film, Victor, a villager in a small 19th-century European town, is taken to the underworld to marry a corpse bride. Surprisingly, the afterlife isn't that disagreeable, and it's a lot more exciting than his strict Victorian society. Meanwhile, his live wife-to-be, Victoria, is left behind in the land of the living. Rated PG for some scary images and action and brief mild language, running time 75 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

After the unexpected death of her husband, airplane designer Kyle Pratt takes her daughter, Julia, on board a state-of-the-art 474 aircraft to fly from Berlin to New York. In the middle of the nonstop flight, Julia seemingly disappears without a trace. Kyle begins to panic when the crew, including Capt. Starring Matt Damon, Heath Ledger and Jonathan Pryce. Terry Gilliam directs this revisionist adventure story that loosely follows the fairy tale-telling brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. The siblings are early 18th-century con men who convince people to pay them for their abilities to banish strange creatures from their villages. It's all a scam, which has them worried after Napoleon's men want their services to investigate an evil queen who may be sapping blood from innocent young girls. 'Red Eye'
Starring Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy and Kyle Gallner. Lisa Reisart hates to fly, but her fears are put at ease when she meets a handsome stranger who's departing to Miami on the same flight. The problem is, just after takeoff, the man reveals himself to be a psycho planning to kill the head of Homeland Security, and Lisa is somehow the key to his success.
