'Final Destination 3'

Starring Ryan Merriman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Texas Battle. A high-school senior has a premonition in which she dies in a roller-coaster accident along with three of her friends. She uses her knowledge of the future event to cheat death but the Grim Reaper isn't happy about that and comes to seek his revenge. Rated R for strong horror violence/gore, language and some nudity, running time 92 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

'Firewall'

Starring Harrison Ford, Paul Bettany and Virginia Madsen. The wife and family of a man working as the head of security for a multinational bank are kidnapped. To get them back, he has to circumvent his own security system to steal $37 million from the bank as ransom, after which he has to catch the kidnapper to clear his name from the predictable embezzlement accusations. 'New World'

Starring Colin Farrell, Christopher Plummer and August Schellenberg. In 1607, a crew of English explorers sponsored by the Virginia Company lands in North America. On board is John Smith (Farrell), a rebellious man sentenced to hang. As soon as they drop anchor, the crew discovers that the land is inhabited by a complex empire of native tribes, ruled by the chieftain Powhatan. 'Pink Panther'

Starring Steve Martin, Jean Reno and BeyoncŽ Knowles. A famous soccer celeb is murdered and his ring stolen, a ring set with the Pink Panther diamond. 'Brokeback Mountain'

In 1963 Wyoming and Texas, a rodeo cowboy named Jack and a ranch hand called Enis take a summer job tending a flock of sheep on forest-service land. The entirely unexpected outcome: a torrid affair between the two men. Later in their lives, they go their separate ways and find wives, but the memory of that summer refuses to fade. Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener and Clifton Collins Jr. Author Truman Capote reads a newspaper story about the true-life murder of a rural Kansas family and decides he wants to write the story of the killings. Heading to the Sunflower State with his childhood friend, Harper Lee , Capote becomes fascinated by the ensuing manhunt and the killers themselves, writing the story of all he sees, which eventually became the fictionalized true-crime story "In Cold Blood." 'The Chronicles of Narnia'

Starring Tilda Swinton, Rupert Everett and Dawn French. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are separated from their parents in London during the German air raids of World War II. 'End of the Spear'

'Glory Road'

'Hoodwinked'

Starring the voices of Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close and Jim Belush. This animated movie is "Little Red Riding Hood" in reverse: Chief Grizzly and detective Bill Stork investigate a break-in at Granny's house. The prime suspect: Red herself! 'King Kong'

Starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody. A gigantic ape is discovered on an isolated piece of land called Skull Island by a documentary filmmaker. The director manages to capture the creature, known as King Kong, and bring him back to New York City, where Kong escapes and runs amok, finally climbing the Empire State Building. 'Last Holiday'

Starring Queen Latifah, LL Cool J and Timothy Hutton. A shy cookware sales clerk thinks that she's dying of terminal cancer and decides to take one last dream vacation to Europe. 'Nanny McPhee'

Starring Emma Thompson, Colin Firth and Angela Lansbury. The widowed Mr. Brown and his seven misbehaving children, led by eldest Simon, have scared away 17 previous nannies. Brown fears that the latest, Nanny McPhee, is going to be another name on that unfortunate list. But soon the children notice that their usual shenanigans don't work on the new nanny. 'When a Stranger Calls'
