The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host a First Friday reception for its paranormal photography exhibit, "Haunted Images Through The Lens of Tom Halstead," from 5 to 9 p.m.

The exhibit, on the Arts Council's Community Wall, will be presented by the Paranormal Task Force, a team of paranormal invesitgators from Arnold, Mo. It will feature unaltered paranormal images captured by former Task Force member Tom Halstead. The images will be accompanied by a "before" image as well as information about the location and experience.

"It's rare to capture paranormal activity in a photograph," said Murielle Gaither, executive director of the Arts Council. "I that this could be one of our more talked about exhibits."

The Task Force also will discuss the methods used to capture paranormal images from 10 a.m. to noon during the Saturday Social at the Arts Council. For more information, call Gaither at 334-9233.
