Singers yearning for new challenges may join Southeast Missouri State University's Choral Union, a nonauditioned choral assembly open to community and collegiate singers. Choral Union rehearsals will begin Sept. 8 in the new choral rehearsal room at the River Campus Center. Rehearsals will be held each Monday during the fall semester as the group prepares for a performance Dec. 2 at the Bedell Performance Hall in collaboration with the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra and the University Choir. Selections for the fall semester are Schubert's "Mass in G" and Perry's "Blest Pair of Sirens." Both new and used copies of Schubert's composition will be available for purchase at the first rehearsal. For more information about the Choral Union, contact Dr. Peter Durow at 651-2342 or pdurow@semo.edu.
