POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Lily Tomlin will bring laughs to Southeast Missouri with an appearance at the Rodgers Theatre in Poplar Bluff. Her one-night, one-woman show Sept. 19 will raise money for the Claudia Foundation Scholarship programs and help restore the Rodgers Theatre. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20, $35 and $100, and are available at various businesses and by calling 573-686-3040 or 573-429-8638 or online at www.claudiafoundation.org.

Second comedy show added to Carson Center

PADUCAH, Ky. — Comedian Rodney Carrington appeals so much to people in the area that his Nov. 13 show at the Carson Center has sold out. Organizers have added a second show at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 13.
