Ste. Genevieve artist expands studio

ST. GENEVIEVE, Mo. — Mike Devaney, a novice artist, will celebrate the opening of his new Studio de Michel on North Main Street on Friday in Ste Genevieve. Devaney originally rented the building as an art studio, but realized the space was perfect for displaying other artists as well as practicing his own talent. The opening coincides with the new monthly Fourth Friday Ste. Genevieve Art Walk. The grand opening at 6 p.m. Friday features painter James F. Wilson of Mineral Area College and artists from the Ste. Genevieve and St. Louis areas.
