The TNA Impact Wrestling World Tour, presented by TNA Entertainment, comes to the Show Me Center at 7:30 p.m. July 20. Tickets are on sale and may be purchased at the Show Me Center box office, via showmecenter.biz or charge by phone at 651-5000. Tickets start at $15. Fans who purchase a $65 ticket also can attend an early-entry autograph session beginning at 5:30 p.m., redeemable with the ticket on show night. Leading the Impact Wrestling Superstars at the event include TNA world heavyweight champion Bully Ray, Jeff "Charismatic Enigma" Hardy, Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, X Division champion Chris Sabin, the TNA Knockouts and more. Arts Council of Southeast Missouri members who create fine arts and crafts are invited to enter one work in the Annual Member's Exhibit. The council will accept entries until Aug. 30, and the show will open Sept. 6. There is no juror for the exhibit, but pieces must adhere to the guidelines dictated in the prospectus. No entry fee is required. The only requirement is that artists must be on the member roster of the Arts Council. Two-dimensional work must be wired for hanging, and three-dimensional work must not exceed 36 inches in any direction. Artists must provide their own pedestal for 3-D pieces. Jewelry must be in a case or a glass box. Artists may deliver their work to the Arts Council gallery, 32 N. Main St., in Cape Girardeau during normal business hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. To view the full prospectus, visit capearts.org. The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host an opening reception from 5 to 9 p.m. July 5 for a solo exhibit by Jackson artist Herb Wickham. Wickham's work is locally recognized featuring landscapes in Southeast Missouri. Wickham coached football and taught art in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Jackson for 35 years, retiring in 1991. Since retirement, he has produced more than 350 paintings and drawings. Wickham is a member of the Bootheel Regional Art Guild, the Cat Ranch Art Guild, the Visual Arts Cooperative and the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. Along with the solo exhibit, the Visual Arts Cooperative also will debut new works in its gallery space at the Arts Council. The window exhibitor for the month of July will be Craig Thomas.
