WildHeart to perform at Nature Center
The musical group WildHeart will perform at 7 p.m. June 2 at the Cape Conservation Campus Nature Center. The musical duo performs songs that play on children's interest in wildlife. Registration is required. For more information, call 290-5218.
The Tunes at Twilight series opened last week to a strong reception. Organizers say about 400 people showed up to see the Nashville-based pop-rock group Brother Henry. Record attendance for one day was set last year when Kimberley Dahme drew a crowd of around 500. This week's concert features French guitarist Claude Bourbon tonight at 7 p.m. at the Common Pleas Courthouse gazebo.
Dr. Martin Jones, retiring dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Southeast Missouri State University, will be the guest on this Sunday's episode of "Going Public," airing at 3 p.m. on KRCU. Jones and a panel will discuss the challenges of higher education and the importance of the liberal arts.
