Trout Fishing in America to headline ArtsCape

The annual ArtsCape community arts festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 20 in Capaha Park. Musical headliners at this year's festival are the nationally touring group Trout Fishing in America, nominated for two Grammy awards. Other musical performances will include Brother Henry of Nashville, Tenn., and locals Bruce Zimmerman and the Water Street Band. Southeast jazz ensembles to perform concert May 4

Southeast Missouri State University's two jazz ensembles -- the premier Studio Jazz ensemble and the Jazz Lab band -- will present a concert at 8 p.m. May 4 in Academic Auditorium. Phillip Dunlap of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville will be the featured soloist on piano. The groups will perform the works of jazz composers such as Count Basie, Miles Davis and Sammy Nestico. For more information, call 651-2265.

Choral union, orchestra celebrate Mozart

The Southeast Missouri Symphony orchestra will team up with the Southeast Missouri State University Choral Union and University Choir for the final concert of the orchestra season at 8 p.m. May 2 in Academic Auditorium. Benefit set for Network Against Sexual Violence

A benefit concert for the SEMO Network Against Sexual Violence will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the New McKendree United Methodist Church's South Campus in Jackson. Admission is free and the acoustic folk/pop group Restless Spirit will perform. For more information, call 243-4011.

Ste. Genevieve winery holds Stargazers Dinner

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Cave Vineyard in Ste. Genevieve will hold its first Stargazers Dinner from 7 to 10 p.m. April 23. Stargazers will have access to at least four telescopes and eight members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society will be on hand to assist in viewing. Pianist to solo in concerts Tuesday, Wednesday

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Tyson Wunderlich, director of the Perry County Lutheran Chorale and adjunct faculty member at Southeast Missouri State University and Mineral Area College, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Perry Parks Center in Perryville. Art museum appoints firm to manage expansion

ST. LOUIS -- The Saint Louis Art Museum has appointed the Chicago-based Rise Group LLC as the project manager for its planned expansion, which will include a program area of 95,000 square feet, underground parking and a new south-facing entrance.
