Celebrate Valentine's early in downtown Cape

Stores will stay open late Friday for the first "Love is in the Air" event to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Merchants have planned a variety of romantic activities including wine and chocolate samples at Patricia Ann's and refreshments, hand massages and moments of wellness at eDen Spa and Salon. Lang Jewelers will have a violinist, frozen strawberries and sparkling beverages. Friday's festivities will also have horse and buggy rides and specials on dinners for two. "Instruments of Life" is a collection of medical instruments and medicines from the second half of the 19th century and includes a surgical kit from the American Civil War and two trephination kits used for boring into the human skull. Dinner theater to be held at Kimbeland

Vendor space available for 2009 ArtsCape
