Vocal recital features Broadway songs

The 15 students enrolled in "Class Voice for Musical Theatre III" in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University will demonstrate their skills during a recital at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shuck Music Recital Hall at Southeast's River Campus. The course is designed to teach students advanced vocal techniques and performance principles. A variety of Broadway songs will be featured, and admission is free.

Children's auditions for 'Pan' scheduled

Southeast Missouri State University State University's Department of Theatre and Dance will hold an audition for children ages 8 and older for the department's production of "Peter Pan." The audition will be in the River Campus Dance Studio at 1 p.m. Saturday. Those participating will be taught a song for the audition. Rehearsals for the show will be on nights and weekends, beginning Jan. 13. "Peter Pan" will be presented from Feb. 26 to March 2 in the Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast's River Campus.

Donny & Marie holiday show set for St. Louis

ST. LOUIS -- The Donny & Marie Christmas Show will be presented Wednesday at th Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7:30. Tickets on sale for 'Magic Flute'

Tickets for "Die Zauberflote (The Magic Flute)," which will be presented Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bedell Performance Hall on Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus, are on sale at rivercampusevents.com/series/music/die-zauberflote-the-magic-flute.
