White -- Miller

Alan and Catherine White of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Catherine White, to Alexander Ryan Miller, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Duanne and Deanna Miller of St. Peters, Missouri.

Sarah is a 2006 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She received a Bachelor of Occupational Science degree in 2009 and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2011 from the University of Missouri at Columbia. She is an occupational therapist and the director of rehab at Select Specialty Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri.

Alex is a 2005 graduate of Francis Howell High School in St. Charles. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Missouri. He is a financial representative at Fidelity Investments in Ladue, Missouri.

A Sept. 10 wedding is planned at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Soulard, Missouri.
