Welker-Medley

Connie Welker and Larry and Debbie Welker, all of Cape Girardeau, announce the engagement of their daughter, Teresa Rene Welker, to James Paul Medley, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Terry and Nancy Medley of Libertyville, Mo.

Welker is a 1996 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. She is a medical technologist and night supervisor in the clinical laboratory at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Medley is a 1994 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School, served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and attended Southeast University. He is an Emergency Room technician at Southeast Hospital.

A Sept. 29 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
