Walton -- Belt

Dave Walton of Corvallis, Oregon, and Marcia and Mark Bliss of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Rose Walton, to Chad Douglas Belt, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Jeff and Lisa Belt of Centertown, Missouri.

Katherine (Katie) is a 2011 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri -- Columbia in May 2015. She is a structural design engineer at Boeing in St. Louis.

Chad is a 2011 graduate of Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, Missouri. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri -- Columbia in May 2015. He is a structural design engineer at Boeing in St. Louis.

An Oct. 8 wedding is planned at St. Anthony of Padua Church in St. Louis.
