Wachter-Ward

JACKSON, Mo. -- Kenneth Wachter and Edward and Sandra Schilling of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly Lynn Wachter, to Travis Eric Ward. He is the son of Bob and Kathy Ward of Cape Girardeau and Wayne and Carole Pfeiffer of Jackson.

Wachter received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a social worker with Division of Family Services.

Ward received a degree in business administration from Murray State University in Murray, Ky. He is collections manager at CitiCapitol Commercial Corp.

A Nov. 10 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
