Veneziano - Shekell

Louis and Carol Veneziano of Cape Girardeau and Ames, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina A. Veneziano, to Matthew N. Shekell. He is the son of Gary and Francene Shekell of St. Louis.

Veneziano received a bachelor's degree in communications from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006, and a master's degree in advertising and marketing communications from Webster University in 2008. She is employed at St. Louis Labor Tribune.

Shekell received bachelor and master degrees in criminal justice from Southeast in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He is a probation and parole officer with city of St. Louis.

A May 23 wedding is planned in St. Louis.
