VanGennip - Dirnberger

Norbert and Marethe VanGennip of Marble Hill, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Anne VanGennip, to Lucas Ryan Dirnberger of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Debra Dirnberger of Oran, Missouri, and the late Thomas Dirnberger.

Marissa is a 2008 graduate of Leopold High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in business management in 2013 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is agency owner of VanGennip Insurance & Financial Services in Advance, Missouri.

Lucas is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting and a minor in finance in 2010 from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a commercial loan officer at Alliance Bank in Cape Girardeau.

A Sept. 15 wedding is planned at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri.
