Vandeven-Long

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Roger and Sheryl Vandeven of Leopold announce the engagement of their daughter, Gwendolyn Sue Vandeven, to Joseph Adam Long, both of Marble Hill. He is the son of Joyce Long of Marble Hill, and the late J.L. Long.

Vandeven is a 2000 graduate of Leopold High School. She received a bachelor's degree in health science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. She is a nuclear medicine technologist at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Long is a 1995 graduate of Woodland High School. He received an associate of science degree from Mineral Area College at Park Hills, Mo., in 1997. He is a maintenance technician at TG Missouri Corp. in Perryville, Mo.

A June 4 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
