Vance - Martin

KELSO, Mo. -- Tim and Celine Vance of Kelso announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Monique Vance, to Michael Christopher Martin. He is the son of Jack and Mary Anne Martin of Jackson.

Katelyn is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a degree in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a fourth grade teacher at Nell Holcomb School.

Michael is a graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in elementary education from Southeast University, and a master's degree in elementary administration from William Woods University. He is an assistant middle school principal for the Jackson School District.

An Aug. 30 wedding is planned in Kelso.
