Wayne and Jane Unterreiner of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Nicole Unterreiner, to Jeffrey William Fahrner. Wayne and Jane Unterreiner of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Nicole Unterreiner, to Jeffrey William Fahrner. He is the son of Bill and Sandy Fahrner of Belleville, Ill.

Unterreiner received a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a fourth grade teacher with Mehlville School District at Oakville Elementary School in St. Louis.

Fahrner received a bachelor of science degree in business management from UMC. He is manager of Bill Fahrner Auto Body in Belleville.

An Oct. 10 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Church.
