Ulrich - Blalock

Catherine Ulrich of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Dr. Cynthia Elaine Ulrich, to Dr. Richard Wayne Blalock Jr., both of Maryland Heights, Missouri. He is the son of Richard and Lorraine Blalock Sr. of St. Charles, Missouri.

Cynthia is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology, chemistry and math/physics from Southeast Missouri State University, and a doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is owner and dentist at Triad Dental Center in St. Peters, Missouri.

Richard is a graduate of St. Dominic High School in O'Fallon, Missouri. He received a bachelor of science degree in life sciences from Logan University, and a doctorate of chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. He is owner and chiropractic physician at Active Family Chiropractic in St. Charles, Missouri.

A June 28 wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
