Trankle -- Eftink

David and Karen Trankle of Leopold, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Trankle of Leopold, to Craig Eftink of Chaffee, Missouri. He is the son of Martin and Jeanette Eftink of Chaffee.

Melinda graduated in 2003 from Leopold High School, earned her bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is employed as a store manager at Farmer's Pool and Spa.

Craig graduated in 2003 from Notre Dame Regional High School and earned his associate's degree from Three Rivers College. He is employed at LaFarge Holcim.

An Oct. 24 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
