Thompson received bachelor of science and master of science degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and expects to receive a Ph.D. in monogastric nutrition in May 2005.

Baker received bachelor of science and master of science degrees in animal sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a clinical research associate with Elanco, the animal health division of Eli Lilly and Co.

An Aug. 14 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church.
