Syler-Munter

William and Georganne Syler of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Syler, to Charles Munter, both of Memphis, Tenn. He is the son of Mike and Joan Munter of Salem, Ill.

Syler is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is pursuing a master of fine arts in theater from the University of Memphis.

Munter received a bachelor's degree from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, and a master's degree from Central Methodist College at Fayette, Mo. He is a math teacher at White Station High School in Memphis.

A June 26 wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
