Harold and Lina Stroder of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Angel Nicole Stroder, to Cole Randal Burton. He is the son of Mary Burton of Cape Girardeau and Randy Burton of Belleville, Ill.

Stroder is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a degree in liberal arts from Southeast Missouri State University in 2004. She is employed in sales with Nextel.

Burton is a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, received a degree in liberal arts from Southeast in 2004, and is attending the radiology tech program at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He is a bartender at The Royal N'Orleans.

A June 11 wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church.
