Steffens - Miesner

Daniel and Lori Steffens of Frohna, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Anne Steffens of Cape Girardeau, to Derek Paul Miesner. He is the son of Rick and Elaine Miesner of Frohna.

Steffens is a graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School, and is pursuing a degree in public relations at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at the Bank of Missouri.

Miesner is a graduate of Perryville High School. He received an associate degree in agriculture business from Mineral Area College, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree at Southeast. He is employed by United States Department of Agriculture.

A May 25, 2013, wedding is planned at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
