Staten-Chavous

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald O. Staten of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Malaika Nikol, to William Timothy Chavous III.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jones of Lindenwood, N.J.

Staten is employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri in St. Louis, and is a member of the management team.

Chavous is employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He served active duty in the U.S. Navy.

An October wedding is planned at Greater Dimension Ministries in Cape Girardeau.
